Flyer/poster for "Green Moon Gathering" event at Pry House, Alston, Cumbria from 14th to 17th July 1983. Rear has text giving some background to an event the previous year which this builds on and relating it to Ecology Party principles of decentralised democracy, cooperation, non-violence and respect for the earth and future generations.

The Glastonbury Gathering moved from Worthy Farm to nearby Lamberts Hill Farm. In 1982 the new Local Government Act had required a licence for "public entertainments" with the local authority able to impose conditions.
