Sad to see that so far all the 'green activists' listed are men.

Quite right Stephanie - I will get on the case dreckley...there are many who need listing. To be fair the Activists page is a stub - there are no potted-biogs there yet. On the other hand the Person Index is also male dominated - I must get creating tags for women. Suggestions welcome.
The intention is that the Person Index should be the main index, where there is a biog on the site that will be linked in the short description. The name links to all the articles mentioning that person. The "Activists" and "Thinkers" pages are where the biogs will be listed - as with the "Pioneers" currently in both 'blog' and table layouts.

I should add that if you, or anyone else, would like to write either a very short description of what someone did (less than 100 words), or a longer, but not long, (300-500 word) potted biography of an activist focusing on what they did in the period 1972-1990, then send it to and we will be happy to publish it...

By the way this Image Gallery page is also a mess - the pictures need breaking down into separate themeatic galleries - a job for one day soon...
